Space Odyssey 2011: The quest for a better closet

I have declared 2011 the Year of the Closet, in which I will rip out my entire master closet and start again. Objectives include:
- Better organization
- Task lighting
- Sorting for dirty laundry
- Sleek door solution

I like this design because the door makes the closet virtually disappear behind a clean wall when closed. And the black interior gives the illusion of space inside.

Let's not overlook that fact that the room itself is simple, spare and uncluttered. The complete antithesis of my bedroom currently, but something I would like it to be in the very near future.

I have just clean my closet last week. It was dirty. Now its clean and fresh. With better arrangement of my clothes. It's well organized. Gonna think of changing a little after reading your post.
